The companies: Viessmann, Uzin, C+P Meble and S&L got new licences to run a business in the subzone Legnica. The licences were ceremonially presented by the Deputy President of Legnica, Jadwiga Zienkiewicz, and the President of the Legnica Special Economic Zone, Adam Grabowiecki.
Viessmann Technika Grzewcza Sp. z o.o. plans to launch the production of wires and bundles for Viessmann hanging condensing boilers. Within the frames of the investment, the company shall create 10 new jobs and maintain 470 employees. On behalf of the company, the licence was received by the Deputy President Gerhard Baste and board member Tomasz Tomczak.
Also, the German entrepreneur Uzin, who wants to expand his plant in Legnica, received the licence. The investment’s value will amount to at least 1 million zloty. The company plans to increase its offer, as well as to increase the volume of the sales. To this end, Uzin will enlarge the existing infrastructure in the subzone Legnica, among others by expanding the warehouse building, purchasing necessary equipment and expanding office space. During the ceremonial presentation of the licences, the President of Uzin Polska Produkty Budowlane Tadeusz Wawrowski, pointed out that the company in Legnica is very highly rated by the owners and is one of the best companies in the corporation.
Another company with a new licence is C+P Meble Sp. z o.o. The company plans to spend over 8 million zloty, as well as to increase the number of employees to 123. In Legnica, C+P Meble produces furniture made of steel plate. Within the scope of the new investment, there is the purchase of new machines and enlargement of the production hall by adding 1800 sq.m.
The last licence was given to the S&L Sp. zo.o. company, which intends to start a business in the zone. The company will provide, among others, road transport of goods, warehousing, selected services supporting land transport, financial audit and accounting services. This small company from Legnica will invest over 4 million zloty and will initially employ 5 people.
Last year, within the frames of the Legnica Special Economic Zone, 10 licences were issued. The planned investment’s costs will amount to 267 513 401 zloty, 263 new jobs will be created, while at the same time the existing 2297 jobs will be maintained.
