Construction works on a new office building have started in 10 Roździeńskiego in Katowice. On August 1st the construction site was passed to the general contractor - Budimex company.
The first stage of construction involves building an eight-storey edifice with underground parking and commerce and services zone. Total space to lease will amount to over 13 000 square meters. Completion of construction works is scheduled for the last quarter of 2014. Ultimately, it is planned to create a multifunctional office and services complex with a commerce and services zone as well as an underground and ground parking.
Budimex signed an agreement to execute this project with subsidiary LC Corp S.A. - LC Corp Invest XII Sp. z o.o.
Recently, LC Corp has announced plans to issue shares to raise funds necessary to repay the debt associated with Sky Tower project in Wrocław. The company plans to raise funds in the amount of PLN 270 mln, out of which 34 mln will be used to purchase RB Finance Expert, and PLN 236 mln to pay the debt.
LC Corp S.A. manages a group of special purpose property development companies carrying out residential and commercial projects in Poland. Its portfolio includes such projects as already mentioned Sky Tower in Wrocław and Wola Center, an office and services complex which is currently being built in Warszawa.
