A similar project will be held in Bobrowiecka 8 in the second half of this year. It will be New Spectra Art Space. The main assumption of Bobrowiecka 8 is to promote artistic events not only inside the office. The idea was initiated by the mural in front of the newly erected Bobrowiecka 8. The new space for the presentation of works by young Polish authors as well as the main place for cultural events will be Garden of Art, designed in the atrium. Business seeks for a place which will fit the image and which will play along with the culture of a given organization. Our art supports tenant’s culture. We know from experience that the presence of pieces of art in a work place is appreciated by employees of Bobrowiecka 6. Culture gives a new meaning to a place, it has an emotional impact on all employees, who, thanks to both the atmosphere and the surroundings, have a better well-being. Furthermore, they are also more productive and they develop creative thinking – says Dariusz Sokołowski, Chairman of the Board of Spectra Development.
Another place where art and business coincide is Stacja Biznesu located in Kielce, where works of art are also presented in front of the building, that is two sculptures – “Ludzie z Żelaza” (“Iron People”) made by Zbigniew Frączkiewicz. What is more, guests of the nearby restaurant “Żółty Słoń” (“Yellow Elephant”) are welcomed by the installation made by Kuba Bąkowski, which presents… a yellow elephant. This talking sculpture reacts to movement of people walking around the building, making them surprised and interested. There is also art inside the office. The walls in the hall, in the reception, in the conference hall and in the restaurant are decorated with works by Kuba Bąkowski and his “Lądowniki” (”Landers”) cycle.
Dorbud, the investor of Stacja Biznesu, is engaged in many different activities which promote both culture and art. The owners of the company established New Space of Art Foundation, the principal goal of which is promotion of modern art and its authors.
