On October 29th, Flowcrete Poland, a leading producer of high-quality resin floors, celebrates its 25th anniversary of business activity in Poland. On this occasion, the company launches a new fully equipped laboratory, focused on R&D.

Flowcrete Poland has had its own production facility and research laboratory in Warsaw since 2012. However, due to export to 17 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and increased production activity, the company relocated to a two-size bigger production hall 2 years ago. At present, Flowcrete Poland is the largest deliverer of Flowfresh antibacterial floors within Flowcrete Group around the world, as well as the leading producer of parking floor systems. In response to increasing demand for research and innovation, the company has launched a new fully equipped 150 sqm R&D laboratory.

In the recently launched laboratory, Flowcrete Poland undertakes works on new products that respond to the needs of customers. The company exchanges knowledge and experience with the Flowcrete R&D departments that operate around the world, including such countries as Sweden, Great Britain, or the USA.

Since the beginning of our business activity, we’ve been focused on both the highest quality and the innovative approach. In Poland, we launched our own original Peran STB technology, which bases on transparent epoxide resin and arenaceous quartz. To this day, the floor of the highest abrasion resistance sets the standard for industrial floors. Our team has been creating tailor-made solutions in response to the needs of customers for years. Thanks to this new laboratory, we can provide perfect conditions for running R&D activity in Poland.

– says Barbara Radziwon, Managing Director of Flowcrete Central & Eastern Europe.

In the new laboratory, Flowcrete Poland conducts standard quality controls for each production batch, including visual assessments, density and viscosity tests, UV chamber tests, binding-time tests, or mechanical and chemical resistance tests. Our innovative equipment allows for conducting research at the construction site, including on-site testing of concrete substrates, such as pull-off tests and slip-resistance tests of the ready-to-use resin floors.
