The software developer supporting business IT solutions will move into Alchemia in September 2014. The current headquarters of Compuware is located on Dmowskiego 12 Street. The new offices will take up over 3000 sq. m.
Compuware is an American company, present in Poland since 2005, when it acquired the company Adlex. From the very beginning, it operates on the market in Tricity and services 46 out of 50 largest companies according to Fortune magazine. Currently it employs over 170 people in Poland. In Gdańsk, the company deals with all stages of software production, beginning from market analysis and product definition, through the choice of technology, programming or testing, and ending with creating documentation for users and technical support for customers. To keep on developing the company in all these areas, we had to make the decision to change our location, because the current one lacks free office space, which makes it harder to expand the business. However, it is possible to fulfill our plans in Alchemia complex, in which we appreciate mostly high technical standard, adjusted to our needs and the nature of our business, says Witold Płotka, Vice-President of Compuware. Relocation is also associated with access to public transportation and facilities for employees. These are active people, for whom presence of parking places or cloakrooms for cyclists is important, as well as proximity of sports complex with swimming pool, which one can use even during lunch break, emphasises Witold Płotka.
The agreement was signed for 5 years. Compuware will take up over 3000 sq. m on 7th , 8th and 9th floors of the Platinum tower.
Alchemia offers 16 700 sq. m of office space within the frames of the first stage of the investment, put into use in January 2014. In the complex, there is also sports and recreation centre. Currently, the second stage is being constructed, which is to be put into use in the last quarter of 2015. It will provide almost 21 000 sq. m of offices and over 2600 sq. m of service space.
