Millward Brown research institute conducted an opinion poll among Varsovians concerning the Castle Square – Business with Heritage office and warehouse building, which is being realized by Senatorska Investment company. The overwhelming majority claim that they like the project of the building and over two thirds of respondents believe that it fits the historic development of the Old Town. The office did not commend to 22 per cent of interviewees and ca. 11 per cent do not have any opinion about it.
Moreover, the majority of Varsovians positively judged the decision of investor about the development of an empty plot at Castle Square. 66 per cent of respondents prefer to see in this place an office instead of undeveloped area. According to 20 per cent of interviewees, the plot should remain empty.
The results of the survey conducted by Millward Brown company confirm that inhabitants of Warsaw appreciate the highest quality of architecture of the Castle Square – Business with Heritage. We are glad that the building designed by a renowned architect studio – RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky, perfectly fits in historical development of the Old Town in Warsaw in opinion of the great majority – comments Maksymilian Marcinkowski, chairman in Senatorska Investment.
The inhabitants of Warsaw had also a possibility to point out all services which, according to them, should be available in the building. Among the most frequently answers there were: restaurant or coffee shop – each of them was indicated by 41 per cent of respondents, art galleries – said every third Varsovian, chemist’s and clothes shop – although such opinion was indicated only by 10 per cent of interviewees.
The results of our survey present definitely positive and coherent assessment by inhabitants of Warsaw – the attractiveness of the building, its adjustment to the surrounding and the idea to develop the empty plot. It is worth emphasizing that among over 2/3 of positive grades, nearly a half, that is 1/3 of all grades, were good – says Michał Węgrzynowski, Research Unit Manager in Millward Brown.
The survey was conducted by Millward Brown company and 500 people participated in it. The project was carried out with the use of street sample survey method in chosen points of the city, based on the polling on the tablet (CAPI).
