From 25 November, the employees of the complex, the inhabitants of Warsaw and the enthusiasts of healthy food will have an occasion to benefit from the offer of farmers and producers who are to deal in products on the BioBazar market. BioBazar is to occupy 2200 sq. m on the ground floor and on the -1 level in Merkury, which is a part of EMPARK Mokotów Business Park. What is more, a special car park for 70 cars will be prepared for guests visiting BioBazar. BioBazar will be open four times a week on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thanks to such a valuable brand as BioBazar, we are making a major step forward in changing the general perception of EMPARK which is mainly associated with a work place. So far, we have been raising the profile of this place by organizing a number of initiatives in a specially divided part of the square between the buildings which is aimed at employees of our tenants. For instance, we have organized yoga classes, open-air cinema or EURO fan zone. At present, we are planning to extend the square and its functionality, to increase the green areas and the number of seats so that it could be a space for relaxation not only for employees of this complex but also for guests visiting BioBazar – says Magdalena Kowalewska, Country Manager Operations Poland, IMMOFINANZ.
Knight Frank, which is a manager and asset manager of EMPARK Mokotów Business Park, was an advisor in the process of gaining BioBazar.
A decision on different location of BioBazar was made due to the renovation in a current place which did not allow us to conduct our activity. We have been searching for a new place which could meet our expectations in respect of sanitary conditions, access to media, space, car park, good location and development conditions for a very long time. EMPARK does not only offer close proximity to numerous office buildings but also to residential buildings. BioBazar is simply a great place where people can talk with each other and visit it not only to do some shopping but also to eat something or participate in workshops and culinary shows. It connects people for whom the issue of food is extremely important and who want to know what they eat and where did it come from – says Joanna Żuchlińska, BioBazar.
