The companies of the Ghelamco Group signed a preliminary sales agreement concerning shares of the owner of Przystanek mBank with the Dutch company – LCN Euro Master Dutch Holdings with a headquarters in Amsterdam. The final agreement will have been conducted after meeting of all the conditions specified in the preliminary agreement. It will be finalized not later than 31 October 2018. The companies of the Ghelamco Group were advised by the experts of JLL, whereas Hogan Lovells was responsible for legal consultancy.
The concluded contract has been one of the biggest transactions on the real estate market in Łódź in recent years. Przystanek mBank is the first project executed by Ghelamco Poland in Łódź. The office is erected in the very heart of the city center at Kilińskiego Street. The complex comprises of the newly built 6-tier office building as well as the historical mansion with annex, which was harmoniously included in the project. The investment also provides an underground garage and developed infrastructure for bicyclists with full facilities. Moreover, there are ca. 24 000 sq. m of office space delivered within the buildings of the complex, which is to be entirely occupied by mBank Group. The lease agreement for the period of 12 years, signed in December 2015, has been one of the largest agreements on the Polish real estate market in recent years. Przystanek mBank was awarded in the prestigious real estate competition – CIJ Awards – in the category of Best Office Lease of the Year in November 2016. The bank is to move into the new headquarters in the second half of 2017.
