The annual gala Europa Property CEE Retail Real Estate Awards was held for the ninth time this year. GTC donated 40 thousand zlotys to the Friends of the Children's Foundation in Warsaw. The donation is to be intended for purchase of technical medical equipment. The Foundation plans to purchase an endoscope and videostroboscope for laryngological curing of children from the Pediatric Hospital WUM.
As GTC, we put great emphasis on being a sensible member of society and we are responsible for sharing kindness with others, especially when it comes to children. We want to seize every opportunity in order to support such organizations as the Friends of the Children's Hospitals in Warsaw and we are planning to continue our activities in this area in the future – says Jacek Wachowicz, Director for Sale and Lease of GTC.
The Friends of the Children's Hospitals Foundation in Warsaw was founded in 1993 thanks to support of USAID. It is one of the first non-governmental organizations in Poland. Its goal is to provide children with possibly best medical care and thus support the children's hospitals in Warsaw through purchase of medical equipment and renovations of departments.
