Nearly 14.5 thousand of qualified employees work in 56 headquarters located in Łódź. According to the report "BSS in Poland" prepared by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), Łódź occupies the 6th position in the country due to employment in business service centers.
At present, BSS constitutes one of the most quickly developing sectors of Polish economy, which generates the greatest amount of new work places. There are 852 such centers in 27 cities of Poland, where 193 thousand people are hired. Moreover, 14 Polish locations may boost about the number of BSS centers, which exceeds 10 units (Łódź is one of them).
Łódź is in the cutting edge of locations with the biggest BSS centers in Poland. The average employment in this sector in Łódź amounts to 259 people. This city has two big BSS centers which hire more than 1000 people. Moreover, 268 companies with Polish capital are among 852 BSS centers in Poland. Other places are occupied by investors from the USA, Germany or Great Britain.

Poland belongs to the most attractive markets in Central and Eastern Europe, for 415 universities operate in the country. Łódź also propagates development of young personnel.
