New edition of "Structure of the Year in Aluprof systems" started on 1st April this year. The competition is aimed at architectural studios or independent architects who decided to use solutions suggested by Aluprof in their work. The idea of the competition is to promote modern architecture and to create a panel for discussion on actual trends in designs and architectural realizations. It will be crowned with selection of the most interesting solids, which were designed and performed with the use of different systems of Aluprof. One of the criteria which has to be met by all projects is their date of realization between 1st January 2014 and 15th June 2016.
The entries may be submitted from 1st April till 15th June this year. The selection of laureates will be conducted in three stages. Firstly, the organizers are to choose 50 works. Then they will select 10 projects from all chosen works which will be qualified to the final. Eventually the jury will present three winning solids. Their authors will be awarded respectively 50 000 zlotys, 30 000 zlotys and 15 000 zlotys. The award ceremony will be held on 9th September 2016 during a gala in Warszawianka hotel. The choice of the winning project will be preceded by the judgement of many factors, for instance, how Aluprof aluminum systems were used in a particular design.
