Third stage of the investment owned by Echo Investment in Katowice – A4 Business Park – has been awarded BREEAM Interim at the Very Good level with the result of 68.1 per cent. We are very glad that the last as well as the largest stage of the office complex has already received BREEAM certificate. The buildings of A4 Business Park have been awarded BREEAM certificates at the Very Good level, which means a practical combination of maximal comfort of users and positive influence of the buildings on the environment. Therefore, we take pains to confirm the grade at the design stage with a final certificate – Final. We are convinced that the buildings of the second and third stage will soon be awarded a final grade at equally high level – says Katarzyna Murdoch, engineer for BREEAM, assessor of BREEAM International, Echo Investment. The certification process of A4 Business Park is being conducted by Grontmij Poland.
At present, 24 buildings of Echo Investment have already been awarded BREEAM certificates, including e.g. three buildings of A4 Business Park, six buildings of Malta Office Park, Nobilis Business House, three buildings of Opolska Business Park, Tryton Business House, West Gate, or Q22.
The office of the third stage of Business Park is being realized at Francuska Street in Katowice, in the neighborhood of the road leading out of the A4 highway. A developed chain of public communication operates in close proximity to the structure – there are numerous bus stops as well as PKP railway station. The realization of the investment is being conducted in accordance with the schedule. The structure will be completed in the third quarter of 2016 and the whole complex A4 Business Park is composed of three offices. The building of the first one along with a cubature multi-level car park with 560 parking places was finished in the first quarter of 2014. The 7-tier building (9000 sq. m) was totally rented by the IT concern IBM. Moreover, 10-tier building offering about 9000 sq. m of office space was realized within the second stage of the investment. A4 Business Park was designed by a renown architectural studio DDJM in Cracow.
