Colliers International Group Inc. informed about taking over a company which operates in the area of property and asset management – that is WPM Groep NV. The value of this transaction has not been revealed. After fusion, the new company will be one of the main entities present of the Dutch market. The company will also have five additional offices in Hertogenbosch, Nieuwegein, Amsterdam, Barendrecht and Apeldoorn at its disposal.
More than 320 people will be working in a joined team and the main headquarters will be located in Amsterdam. The company offers services in the area of appraisal and consultancy, also in the hotel sector, corporation and capital market services as well as mediation in sales of office and commercial properties.
The fact of including WPM into our team means realization of our ambitions related to development of the company – said Chris McLernon, Chairman of Colliers International in the EMEA region. The takeover of the company will enhance the range of services offered by our company will extend the scope of reaching clients and enhance our operational activities, not only in Holland, but also in the whole Europe – added McLernon.
Colliers is extending its business activity not only on new markets, but also in the countries where it has a stable position. The takeover of WPM Groep NV by Colliers is the second such transaction in the region of EMEA within the last month. The company informed about taking over of Hatton Real Estate – British consulting company operating in the area of commercial real estates – in January this year.
