Sii signed a lease contract for 6000 sq. m of modern office area in Olivia Star, which is being realized within the Olivia Business Center complex. One of the biggest employers from the IT sector in Pomerania is planning to create an office in its Gdańsk headquarters inspired by modern areas realized in the Silicon Valley. While designing a new headquarters, we draw inspiration from the biggest giants from the Silicon Valley such as Google, Facebook or Apple. Personally, I had an occasion to visit their offices and I have to admit that they make an electrifying impression – by both arrangement and interior design as well as special area adjusted to the needs of employees. We are going to head that direction too – says Michael Desmurs, chairman of Sii Gdańsk. Except for the offices, there will be also relaxation rooms, fun and games zone, gym, and slide connecting the adjacent floors realized in the headquarters.
Sii is one of the most dynamically developing companies from the IT sector and industrial engineering, which has 8 offices in Poland. Employees of Sii will start their work in the Gdańsk Olivia Star building at the beginning of 2017. Till then, that global deliverer of IT services is planning to hire over 700 engineers in Tricity.
Olivia Business Center is a modern business center, which is being realized in Gdańsk. As a target, it is going to offer 170 000 sq. m to its tenants, which means that it will be the largest office complex in Poland. The center has already held headquarters of such companies as Alior Bank, Allianz, Amazon, Bayer, Energa, Noble Bank, PKO BP, PwC, Sii and ThyssenKrupp. The center has over 1600 parking places (also underground ones) and over 200 stands for bicycles as well as 5 changing rooms with showers. A two-floor fitness studio CityFit will be launched within the complex in 2016.
