Co-working zone for people who want to set up their own business was launched within the activities of the Lublin City Hall aimed at the start-up environment. The beginner entrepreneurs received an access to a fully equipped working place as well as meeting and relaxation zone. The support of people starting their business activity is one of the important goals established by our city for the nearest years. We would also like to provide beginner entrepreneurs with a place where they could start their journey with business, establish relations and share experiences in a creative surrounding without additional financial charges – said Krzysztof Żuk, President of the City of Lublin.
The launching of the urban co-working zone signs itself into projects initiated by the Lublin City Hall. They are aimed at support of the entrepreneurship environment in Lublin. These activities are to stimulate activity of newly founded micro-enterprises by e.g. enabling access to knowledge as well as consultancy. One of the tools allowing to reach most effectively the highly scattered environment are competition initiatives realized together with institutions of the business surrounding. The examples of such projects are: Lbn#Biznes Start (organized with Lublin Science and Technology Park), Wyzwanie 90 dni (realized in cooperation with Academic Entrepreneurship Incubator Foundation) and Lublin Startup Academy (conducted by Lublin Development Foundation on commission of the Lublin City Hall).
The urban co-working zone is located in the building at Zana 38 Street, premises no. 306 in Lublin. It is open in workdays (from Monday till Friday) for representatives of startups, both natural persons and business entities.
