Gdynia Entrepreneurship Incubator has been realized since November 2012 thanks to financial support of the Regional Operational Program of Pomeranian Voivodeship, Infrastructure for Development of Innovative Companies, Borough of Gdynia and Economic Foundation which is the owner of it.
The main aim of Gdańsk Entrepreneurship Incubator is to support development of the sector of micro, small and medium companies which perform a significant role in the economy of Tricity. The building with the total area exceeding 2900 sq. m may hold 30-50 young entrepreneurs. Except for the offices, the structure will also hold conference and training halls as well as gastronomic part intended for business meetings.
Moreover, there will be a center supporting innovations located in the building which will be responsible for transfer of knowledge and technologies between the world of science and business – including gaining information about new projects from the Pomeranian universities, facilitation of communication between entrepreneurs and scientists, activation of students, conducting of trainings for newly founded companies, organization of schoolings and thematically focused workshops.
Gdynia Entrepreneurship Incubator will contribute to establishment of Multimedia Development Center which is going to hold a room equipped with modern multimedia and computer devices, used to realization of consultancy or training services. Thanks to it, the incubator's users will benefit from services which support their own development and thus development of companies which are run by them.
