There are jointly ca. 320 000 sq. m of office area in close proximity to stations of the first line of Warsaw metro opened in 1995. More – that is 540 000 sq. m of offices are located around stops of the second line of metro, which will be soon opened. This area will be increased by 210 000 sq. m in the nearest years – such volume of space is currently being realized in those zones.
The second line of metro will be a perfect solution for commuting people, especially that the supply of office area will exceed one million sq. m in close neighborhood of the second line of metro in the nearest future – adds Bartosz Kozieł, member of the board in Nuvalu Poland company, an advisor on the commercial property market.
Over 500 000 people use the Warsaw metro every day. The second line will run in the neighborhood of Rondo ONZ and Rondo Daszyńskiego, which are one of the crucial business centers in the capital. The whole route will connect Wola district with Praga district and it will be 6-kilometer long. The construction works concerning the second line started in the second half of 2011, whereas the carving of tunnels ended in November 2013.
