The office block will offer 11 000 sq. m of total area on 9 floors above ground and 2 underground. 52 parking places will be at the disposal of the users. Villa Metro will be certified in the ecological system of assessing buildings LEED.
The investor, Reform Company 3 Sp. z o.o., will build the office block on the corner of Puławska Street and newly designed street connecting Puławska Street and Bukowińska Street. The construction works are planned for the years 2015-2016. The architects from the studio Dziuba Architekci: Jerzy Dziuba, Karol Dziuba, Julita Kucharska-Dziuba and Mikołaj Rek are responsible for the design of the Villa Metro. The structure of the building is prepared by architect Slawomir Szarleja, and the design of the installation - by APA Engineering.
The main idea was to quieten and standarise the block, which was determined by the difficult shape of the neighbouring plot of land, as well as to create a harmonious and elegant building which will soften the inter-connected environment, informs architect Karol Dziuba.
The façade of the building will be fully glazed and decorated with characteristic, white, rhombus-shaped structure, designed of fibrobeton. Visually, it will create the letters VM, which are to be the sign of the Villa Metro building, on the elevation.
The office block is the first stage of the development of the quarter between Puławska Street and local city square, included in the site development plan. A passage way, which will join Puławska Street, the square and the entrance to the metro station, will cross the quarter.
The investment entails also the reconstruction of the southern entrance to Wilanowska metro station. The present single carport is to be changed into two separate entrances - one leading towards bus terminus and P&R car park, and another towards Puławska Street, which is the starting point of the aforementioned passage way.
