Commissioning of buildings of Białostocki Park Narodowo-Technologiczny ceased.

The city of Białystok decided to cease commissioning of buildings of Białostocki Park Narodowo-Technologiczny.

The city of Białystok, the investor of Białostocki Park Naukowo-Technologiczny (The Bialystok Science & Technology Park), has suspended on September 13 the acceptance procedure of BPN-T’s buildings. Despite executor’s declaration the objects have not been ready for reception.

After completion of all works the executor is (going to be) obliged to provide the necessary receipt documentation as well as prepare protocols o sanitary and the electrical wiring system commissioning. Only after fulfilling the aforementioned conditions, it will be able to submit the building to acceptance.

The 31st the may 2013 was the executor’s deadline on this project, consequently with the beginning of June the contractual penalty, this being a 0,15 per cent per day will become effective.

The Bialystok Science & Technology Park is being implemented by the city of Białystok and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland for the years 2007-2013. The overall project value is estimated at 167 240 561.93 pln. The external funding from the European Regional Development Fund amounts to nearly 119 million pln while more than 7 million comes from the state budget.

The building is located in the southern part of the city within Dojlidy housing estate in the in the quarter of Borsucza, Jacka Kuronia, Żurawska and Myśliwska streets.

The project involves the development of an area of approximately 3 hectares, by means of erection of two buildings, both having a total surface of 13 000 sqm. The first of them – Inkubator Technologiczny (Technology Incubator) has approximately 5750 sqm, and the second one – Centrum Technologiczne (Technology Centre) has approximately 7250 sqm. There are also plans to prepare and facilitate a 3-hectare built-up area prepared for industrial, production and service development.
