The inauguration of the new premises of BPH Bank was joined by Paweł Adamowicz, The President of Gdańsk, Richard Gaskin, President of the Board, BPH and Arkadiusz Jarocki, President of the Board of EURO STYL, a company which is the developer of the new building.
About 2700 people will be working in the new premises. Until now, they used to work in several office buildings located in different areas of Gdańsk. First employees have already moved to BPH Office Park at the beginning of July. In the first place, two of the buildings will be taken, and in January 2013, the employees will move to the last one, equipped with a safe deposit and underground parking lot. The bank is also planning to move its registered office to Gdańsk.
We did our best to provide our employees with as best working conditions as possible. We also hope that BPH Office Park complex will become our bank’s flagship – said Richard Gaskin, BPH's President of the Board, at the opening ceremony.
Area in the complex was arranged in open space system. In order to improve sound comfort, special acoustical systems were applied. All the buildings in the complex are adjusted to the needs of the disabled people. Joint area of BHP Office Park equals over 19 000 sqm.
The quality of construction is an important element of our strategy. Also with this investment, we paid special attention to the quality of implementation and materials used, and that is why we managed to meet the high expectations of our customers in this field – commented Arkadiusz Jarocki, President of the Board of EURO STYL.
In all the buildings, the following stylistic combinations were used: pop art., natural and modern. Large-format photographs, taken by the employees became interior design elements. What was also used in the building includes such solutions as: systems of video-conference, integrated systems of conference rooms’ reservation and modern IT infrastructure with IP telephony and Wi-Fi. The employees can also use a canteen, which offers mostly health food. As the part of HealthAhead program, whose aim is to promote healthy eating, meals are being sold in affordable prices. Both in a garage and in front of the building, there are bicycle rooms, and the enthusiast of cycling can use changing rooms and showers. Moreover, together with local authorities, a bus traffic plan was formulated, including a line that connects the premises with Gdynia.
