Experts from Hays Poland who analysed wages of managers in Poland have indicated at the even level of wages of the management staff. Few years ago the difference in charge rates offered in Warsaw and other cities amounted to even few thousand zloty per month.
In the first half of 2011 financial directors, project managers, production director as well as experts for medical equipment were paid in a comparable way despite the place of their work either it was Warsaw, Poznan, Krakow or Gdansk. Wages of a shop or restaurant managers also did not differ in terms of the place of work.
The differences in wages resulting from the firm’s location can be noticed in technology sector. An IT manager working in Mazovia Province can earn 40 K. PLN., on Pomerania 10 K. PLN. Less and in Krakow and Silesia approximately 23-25 K. PLN. in turn a web designer working in Silesia, either Poznan or Wroclaw will earn up to 6.5 K. PLN. Less than the one working in the capital city.
Among others, financial analysts and controllers as well as employees of industrial building can anticipate increase in their wages. However, here are fields in which increase in wages is not expected, these are manufacture, insurance, banking, marketing and sales as well as real properties and pharmacy.
