An oral unlimited tender for selling the right of perpetual usufruct, which belongs to the Treasury, will take place in the seat of the Municipal Office in Gliwice on the 6th September.The tender concerns an office and administration building located at 4 Mitręgi Street. The gross opening bid amounts to about 7,4 million.
The offered office building was constructed in the time of the biggest prosperity of the steelworks founded by Salomon Huldschinsky, in the years 1913-1915. The building boasts i.a. the representative entrance, staircase with wrought balustrade, conference room and director's study, reminiscent of the past splendour. The structure was constructed in traditional technology and comprises of two parts – a higher and a lower one. The higher part has four storeys: basement, ground floor and two floors, whereas the lower part, adjacent to Piwna Street, consists of three storeys, that is basement, ground floor and one floor. The office building is equipped with wiring, water-supply, sewerage, telephone and central heating system. Most of these systems ought to be repaired or exchanged.
On basement storey there are 47 rooms of the usable area of altogether 1085,46 sqm, whereas on the ground floor – 32 rooms with the space of 1080,24 sqm. The first floor has 34 rooms, offering 1066,40 sqm. On the second floor 21 rooms with the usable area of 722,61 sqm are located.
In accordance with the decision of Silesian Province Conservation Officer in Katowice, the décor of director's study and conference room was entered into heritage register. Consequently, all the conservation works and possible change of the place of storing the relics of past require a permit of SPCO in Katowice.
The building is located in the vicinity of the constructed Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa [the Intercity Road].
The tender bond amounts to PLN 750 000 and is to be entered by the 31st August 2013.
