The Voivodship Administrative Court has dismissed the complaint lodged by the Homeowner Association Moniuszko 10 in Warsaw which concerned the development investment Nowy Sezam. This decision allows to continue all the activities related to the project’s execution. According to the investor, the partnership BBI Investment, currently the company is waiting for the building permit.
According to the initial plans, the building’s construction will begin in the fourth quarter of 2013, after the commission of Świętokrzyska station of the second underground line. It is related to the fact that the building will be the first building in the capital city to be connected to the undeground. The exit from the Świętokrzyska Station in the direction Ściana Wschodnia (Eastern Wall) will lead through Nowy Sezam.
The office building is to be located at the corner of Marszałkowska and Świętokrzyska Streets, on the spot of the shopping centre Sezam. It will offer about 13,800 sq m of the usable commercial and office area. Shops will be situated on the ground floor, whereas a car park in underground. Offices will occupy other floors.
The partnership obtained the project thanks to the fusion with Juvenes Development (currently in 100% dependent on BBI Development) which prepares the investment’s formal part and develops the project. The building is constructed together with the cooperative “Społem" Śródmieście.
This is not the first project of BBI Development in the capital. At the moment the construction works are being conducted at the office complex Plac Unii; moreover, the first stage of the multifunctional complex Koneser has been commissioned. The newest project is Drapacz Chmur (Skyscraper), at the corner of Emilii Plater and Nowogrodzka Streets, and which may rise up to 180 m (about 590.5 feet)
