An office building MARR, with the leased area of 7 300 sqm on 9 storeys, was to be erected at Aleja Powstania Warszawskiego. The structure would be located in the vicinity of well-known "Żyletkowce" and public utility buildings. The office block could boast its convenient location, high finishing standard and space free arrangement possibilities for tenants.
As MARR informs, a construction design was received on the 4th October 2010. It was approved and granted a building permit by the President of Kraków on the 18th February. His decision was sustained by Małopolska Voivode on 15th June 2011.
However, a complaint was lodged against Małopolska Voivode's decision to Voivodship Administrative Court. It resulted in reversal of the two aforementioned positive decisions on 21st December 2011. Simultaneously, the Court ruled the impossibility of their execution. The decree of Voivodship Administrative Court was appealed to Supreme Administrative Court in Warsaw. The hearing will take place on the 6th February 2013. We are waiting for decision of SAC. We will take appropriate measures depending on the verdict – says Wiesław Bury, the President of Małopolska Regional Development Agency S.A. (MARR).
The building was to be constructed with the use of such materials as glass, aluminium and marble. Due to open space system and the so-called column construction tenants would be able to adjust the space to their needs. The structure, of the office space of altogether 12 000 sqm, was to perform office and service functions. It could be a workplace for about 1 200 people. Occupants would have at their disposal two-level underground parking lot with 90 parking places and 13 above-ground ones.
