On the initiative of the Minister of Economy, on September 13th the Polish cabinet has adopted the regulation on the extension of the Kraków Technology Park. The area of the zone will be enlarged by over 558 ha.
The SEZ will be expanded by grounds located in cities like: Bochnia, Tarnów, Bukowno, Oświęcim, Skawina and Kraków, as well as districts: Zator and Chełmek. Kraków’s zone will consist of 23 subzones in 21 districts. Over 2 000 new jobs will be offered on the included lands, while the expected capital expenditures will amount to over 635 million PLN.
